Access Control Software (ACS) provides a complete access control solution integrated in DASSnet Security Management System (SMS)  
The Access Control Software is also the base of DASSnet and is required when other DASSnet modules are needed. The most important features of the ACS are listed bellow.
ACCESS MONITOR

Control monitor for all events, access transactions, alarms, devices status, doors, readers,  intercom calls, present persons, present vehicles, present visits, etc... All this information can be visualized in one unique window along with a tree structure of all installed and integrated devices in the SMS.

MAP VIEW

All elements integrated in DASSnet can be located on navigable maps for its visual recognition. 

Doors, readers, inputs, outputs, alarm devices, fire sensors, cameras, evacuation areas, etc... are represented with icons that represent its actual status. All devices can be also controlled from this map view.

PRESENTS

Get online lists of all people, visitors, vehicles, etc... that are currently inside you controlled spaces.

OPERATIVE AREA

In big complexes under a unique integrated solution the amount of information and devices makes the monitorization of all elements a big chalenge.

Operation area feature makes virtual partitions of the system, assigning to certain users a group of devices, making the rest invisible.

For example a complex of 10 buildings, the main security office can monitor all 10 buildings while the security guard for building nº1 just can manage and see the elements of its own building.

COMPANY STRUCTURE

For those office buildings that contains many diferent companies inside, DASSnet provides a solution to assign the card holders to his own company and provide specific rights and policies for each company.

Reports can be also made by company, even though the access control system is shared by many.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

In order to organize all employees correctly and make the filtering, search and assignation of rights easier, DASSnet provides a 3 level structure to sort people out.

By default the organization is established as, Center (NY office), Department (R&D) and Sub-Department (Hardware) but it can be customized. For example in a university: Faculty (Economy), Study (Business administration), Group (Morning A1).

EMPLOYEES MANAGEMENT

In one window DASSnet manages the personal data profile of the employee, labor information and organization structure.

In the same window you will be able to assign to the person the rights, routes, PINs, cards (multiple cards), biometric prints, face prints, vehicles, access schedules, expiration dates, print cards, etc... 

From this window you can also search people and get his last transactions reports

CONTRACTORS MANAGEMENT

For those subcontracted workers that are working inside the company but are not employees DASSnet provides a separate window with the same functionalities of the employees. 

Here you can assign the subcontracted employee to the subcontracted company and have all employees, own and subcontracted, organized.

CARDS MANAGEMENT

Find a specific card or a group of cards by organization structure (center, department, sub-department), company, subcontractor..., and individually or in group provide actions, routes, controlled spaces, access schedules, assign/deassign people, delete cards, change expiration dates, etc...

ACCESS ROUTES

Easily create unlimited predefined routes of readers/doors. This routes will be available in the employees/contractors managment windows so the routes can be assigned to cards/fingerprints/license plates etc...

The route allows the opening of the doors included in the route.

ACCESS SCHEDULES

Create easily unlimited access schedules for Working, Festive and Semi-festive days with 2 diferent time slots and assigne those days to a complete year calendar.

The access schedules will be available in the employees/contractors managment window so the schedules can be assigned to cards/fingerprints/license plates, etc...

The card/fingerprint/license plate will just be able to open the assigned doors within the access schedule.

READERS SCHEDULES

Create easily unlimited readers schedules for Working, Festive and Semi-festive days with 2 diferent time slots and assigne those days to a complete year calendar.

The readers schedules will be assigned to readers individually or in group.

Those readers will performed the assigned order within the schedule. Open/Close door, Enable/Disable reader, Access allowed only with card,  Access allowed only with fingerprint, Access allowed only with card or fingerprint, Access allowed only with card andfingerprint, etc...

CONTROLLED SPACES (APB)

Create controlled spaces with specific readers IN and OUT. Controlled spaces provides the following functionalities:

Anti-Passback (APB), controlls the re entry of cards that didn't check-out.

Capacity control, counts the amount of people inside the controlled space and denies the entrance if is full.

Presents control, keeps an online log of present people/visits/vehicles

EVACUATION AREAS

Create Unlimited evacuation areas just by adding doors and outputs. Those evacuation areas will be available to be activated manually or automatically in case an event happen (fire). For automatic actions you will need the alarms module.

From the evacuation panel you will be able to activate all evacuations, or individually one by one, and supervise the process. If all doors and outputs are correctly opened, the trafic light will turn green as well as all devices. In case one or more doors or outputs are not correctly opened, the trafic light will turn amber and the device will be showed in red color.
